An absolute hit of ❤️
Absolute favorite for this building from 1723, an old rectory tastefully renovated, located in Besain, a small peaceful village in the heart of the Jura between Poligny, Arbois, Baume-Les-Messieurs and Château-Chalon. Perfect for getting away from Dijon for a weekend first, then for a week with family for the holidays... Less than two hours from Dijon, this gîte ticks all the boxes for getting away from it all, enjoy the countryside and relax. And this in all seasons!
Alexandra, the new owner of the place, offers a charming gîte and guest rooms which are tastefully decorated in a magnificent setting. Alexandra was very welcoming, lots of information available at the house to organize our stay.
On arrival at the gîte, behind a charming little gate, you will discover a charming house in a green setting. Its rural aesthetic is due to its facade, exposed bricks, and its red shutters. At the very end of the alley on the right, towards the veranda, we are quickly welcomed by Alexandra, the new caretaker of the place. She accompanies us to the cottage, the front door opens onto a beautiful kitchen with fireplace, the kitchen is super well equipped, nothing is missing. Still on the ground floor, a small, comfortable lounge ideal for reading or enjoying a good tea over a good Scrabble. On the first floor, three large bedrooms decorated with furniture and antique objects. Each has its own atmosphere, we fell in love with the sunny room which overlooks the garden… Absolute calm. There is also a cute bedroom for children, with 3 beds. This cottage offers a view of a beautiful and large garden, the owner has also thought of children, by providing a swing, outdoor games and a ball. You can plan to buy milk from the farm next door and there are beautiful walks nearby.
The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. We quickly feel “at home”, pampered by Alexandra who cooks by reservation. We were won over by a raclette to celebrate a birthday! Don’t hesitate to let yourself be tempted by the “chocolate and red fruit cake” to die for!!! Really delicious !!!
Breakfast is not to be outdone: morning bread and pastries, fruit, homemade yogurt, fresh juice, homemade jam, honey and cheese... Possibility of ordering gourmet baskets made up of local products for breakfast.
This charming place is perfect for weekends and holidays with a group of friends or family. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and well located. The WIFI works perfectly. Alexandra knows how to welcome nature and hiking lovers perfectly. Here, time stops and the sounds of nature soothe. During our stay, we had the opportunity to explore the region: its waterfalls, lakes, caves and vineyards. Alexandra was attentive throughout our stay. Thank you very much for all your delicate attention. Whatever the weather, we drag our feet to get away from this place that we will remember for a long time. We hope to return soon to taste the joys of cycling, hiking...

Cocon et découverte
Séjour rapide our nous avec juste une nuit en chambre d’hôte et dîner à la table de Corine. Belle maison rénovée avec goût dans un environnement magnifique. Accueil chaleureux, lits confortables et table conviviale propice aux échanges et découvertes régionales et maison. Cinq du Jura, feuilletée à l’ail des ours, vacherin chaud et saucisses de Montbéliard, Cointreau ou autres eaux de vie aromatisées maison,… et petit déjeuner avec jus de pomme, confitures et yaourts maison bien sûr ! Nous avons même pu goûter les bugnes/risoles maison le jour de mardi-gras !

TOUT JUSTE MAGNIFIQUE
Avons passé 5 nuits avec des amis . Que dire ? Tout simplement que tout était parfait. Avons passé d'agréables moments avec Corine (excellente cuisinière) et Bruno. La déco des chambres a été faite avec goût, les repas : des spécialités locales et des recettes de grand-mère. L'ancienne cure est bien placée au centre du Jura ce qui permet de rayonner pour voir et découvrir le maximum. Corine est là pour vous conseiller. Chambres parfaites et excellente literie. Nous avons apprécié le spa au retour de nos journées chargées ainsi que l'apéritif pris en commun avec Corine, Bruno et les autres hôtes. Le domaine est très joli. Avons goûté à beaucoup de spécialités concoctées par Corine. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. A recommander les yeux fermés. Merci pour l'accueil que vous nous avez réservé.

Parfait sur toute la ligne !
Nous venons de passer un séjour comme nous en avons rarement connu ! Accueil chaleureux de Corine et Bruno, qui ont été de très bon conseil. Chambre (Nuit Étoilée) très cosy, décorée et aménagée avec goût, literie au top. Petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits maison de qualité. Et que dire du repas du soir....un vrai régal, convivial (dans le respect des règles sanitaires), délicieux et plus que complet.
Petit bonus : le jacuzzi en fin de journée après randos.
Un vrai plaisir d'avoir connu Corine et Bruno et d'avoir échangé avec eux.
Ce qui est sûr, c'est que nous reviendrons !

Tout est parfait !
L'accueil est chaleureux, les locaux sont très propres, la déco est magnifique, la literie est impeccable, les petits déjeuners sont copieux tout comme la table d'hôtes en soirée.
La kitchenette mise à la disposition des clients (frigo, micro-ondes, vaisselle....) est fort pratique.
Les règles sanitaires sont bien respectées.
L'environnement est extrêmement calme.
La situation du village est idéale pour rayonner; Corinne connait bien sa région et sait conseiller chacun en fonction de ses intérêts.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.
