Needs a LOT of refurbishing.
Great looking place from the outside… but the interior needs a LOT of renovation. The man who signed us in although pleasant and helpful had his Labrador dog in his very grubby office. He showed us up to our room and carried our suitcase, very helpful. The bedroom was of reasonable size, had a fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and fresh and clean. The bathroom was well laid out and was very clean.
The 2 foot long thick cobweb didn’t look great hanging from the high ceiling over the bed.
The hotel even supplied ear plugs!!! And we found out why, about 5am the road sweeping team were at their work outside (he did warn us).
We went for our complimentary breakfast which was ok and the girl serving was pleasant. Again a lot of cleaning needs to be done, dirty windows, carpet worn through, loose covering on the dining room seats to hide the shabby seating and the dust!
This place could be fantastic if there was major investment put into it.
At the moment, I couldn’t recommend.
